Chris Groves is a PRINCE2, MSP, Prosci Change Management, ITIL and DSDM (Agile PM) certified Change and Transformation Director with 19 years’ experience of large IT delivery and transformation programmes. He has managed software development, business transformation and improvement programme, and business process outsourcing programmes for UK Government and FTSE 100.
Chris has 'war stories' to tell from change management, having been asked to turnaround a number of failing programmes and projects. He has the scars and the lessons learnt to share. Chris has therefore developed an utterly professional approach to the application of programme and project management best practice. He ensures the right foundations are laid for project success. He honed his management and planning skills in the British Army.
Chris is a Member of the Association for Project Management and a Member of the British Computer Society. He has a MA in Intelligence and Security Studies from Brunel University and a BSc Hons in Rural Enterprise and Land Management from Harper Adams University.
Alec Hirst Associate DIRECTOR AND Chief Planner
A PRINCE2 qualified Project Manager with 10 years’ experience in business, infrastructure, and technology. Alec is a proficient Excel analyst with 10 years’ experience in the application and reverse engineering of excel models in: sales, finance, operations, business acquisition, and due diligence. He is a self-taught software programmer and delivers innovative solutions in data management and analysis. Alec has operated as a Project Manager for the NLWA’s £575m capital finance project and has applied his advanced excel skills in delivering projects for a number of high profile clients including Cumbria County Council, City of Edinburgh Council, and the DCLG. Alec also applied his knowledge of PRINCE2 methods and database tools, such as Microsoft Access® to build bespoke data management systems for the NLWA and the QMUL..
